Extra Credit Opportunities

Students who succesfully complete more than half of the Extra Credit Opportunities (ECOs) will have their final letter grade raised by one-third of a letter grade, i.e. from A- to A or from B to B+. This is the place where the official list of ECOs will be maintained.

An ECO write-up of a talk is due one-week after the event.

ECO 1:

Friday February 20th Eric Sundberg Talk on Ramsey Theory 12:30-1:25 Fowler 309

ECO 2:

Filling out the Mid-Term Assessment form completely (and anonymously), handed in by Friday March 6 at 5pm (attach to HW Set #2)

ECO 3:

Reprise of Exam #1 as a take-home to a 90% mastery of the content, due 5pm on Monday March 16.

ECO 4:

Friday March 6th Brian Fischer talk 12:30-1:30 in Fowler 309

ECO 5:

Senior Comps Talks: Every Thursday March 19th/March 26th/April 2nd in Fowler 302 7-9pm (Write-up about any two talks)
