MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT                  FOR STUDENTS STARTING IN FALL 2007
OCCIDENTAL COLLEGE
SUGGESTED COURSE STUDY FOR 3/2 COMBINED PLAN PROGRAM IN ENGINEERING                                                        Computer Science Sequence

The courses in the computer science sequence prepare students to transfer to the California Institute of Technology or to the School of Engineering at Columbia University, New York City, for two years of work leading to the Bachelor of Science degree.

Caltech awards the B. S. degree in Engineering.  The Columbia B. S. degree is in a variety of engineering majors including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering; or a selection of majors in Applied Science, Operations Research, Materials Science, Management Engineering, and others.  The Occidental degree is in the Combined Plan Program.
