Isaac Newton

Isaac Newton will perhaps be remembered as the Albert Einstein of the 17th century.  Among some of his contributions are the "binomial theorem", Calculus, and the Law of Universal Gravitation.  Isaac Newton authored his most important work in Principia (1687). He described the laws of motion named after him. Finally, he completed most of his findings in approximately 2 years at the time of the London plague.
