| Professor Horowitz is the Editor-in-Chief of the New Dictionary of the History of Ideas (N.Y.: Charles Scribner's Sons, 2005), awarded by American Library Association as an Outstanding Reference Source. She is author of the book Seeds of Virtue and Knowledge (Princeton, N.J.: Princeton University Press, 1998). WINNER of the Jacques Barzun Prize in Cultural History of the American Philosophical Society.
